Never understood the reasoning, but yeah lotto winnings here are taxed like crazy. 2-3 times what regular income is taxed.
And personally if I won a large sum of money for whatever reason I'd invest in land. Put enough in the bank to live comfortably for the rest of my life, build myself a medium size house with a big garage/workshop for my tools/truck, then spend the rest of it on as much land as I could afford. Need a little money? Sell the lumber on part of it. Need a lot of money? Sell a chunk of the land itself.

3 weeks, and no posts. Is that a new record? I think last time I only killed it for like 10 days.

So, we found a moth larvae infestation in our house. Fucking lovely. Fortunately, I don't think clothes got damaged much, if at all yet so we caught it early. Any tips on dealing with these bastards?
Also, if any of you decide to get the 3DS version of Fire emblem Warriors, don't buy the season pass from 3rd parties/retailers. There is no way to redeem the codes for the 3DS version.

Nah Fan, probs been worse before. It's a busy time of year though.
Also #pray4Ro. I applied for a new job, hoping to get a role doing intelligence work for my current employer. Not got much of a chance but pray for me.
And happy birthday Fan, even if I am late. Meant to say on FB but was on my way to work at the time and the signal dropped.
No idea Truth, set the house on fire? Probably the best bet. Fucking hate moths.

Ban fan. Seriously, they're fucking everywhere. every time we think we've finally gotten rid of the last of them, we find more on the walls an hour later.

Yeah, that's called paying more money for professional help. Cheap, simple household tips/tricks is what I was looking for. That said, we should probably call the pest control to see if clothing moths is covered on our plan.

Assuming they actually care enough, that is. The apartment my sister stayed at a while back had bed bugs, and not only did the owner not take care of it, they didn't tell my sister about it before she moved in. The building eventually got shut down from disrepair. The bed bugs never got taken care of.
Moth balls won't really work, because none of the places the moths are in are enclosed spaces, meaning the moth balls likely won't clear them all out, but it's also a risk for the cats getting at the moth balls. Toxic shit that stuff is. "Warning: May be fatal if inhaled." While I'm not gonna sniff one, just breathing the air that's affected by it can cause health problems, too. Being carcinogenic is the icing on the cake ugh.
They're literally everywhere: behind the dressers, on the walls, under the beds, between the mattresses and the box springs, in the clothing hampers, behind the washing machine, in the closets, inside some electronics.... it is absolutely revolting. I can't even sleep in my room it's so nasty.
