Damedesuyo already released the first episode 3 days ago, so it aired at least before that.

I actually haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Didn't notice it till Monday, and been busy at work.

People still watch fansubs..... I don't even bother any more. not unless it doesn't come through the main channels. the downside being is that there is a show this season that no one is picking up that isn't getting simulcast yet (cause Netflix are a bunch of useless fucks and have only aired in JP)

I watched the first couple of episodes of 3d Kanojo. actually kinda amusing, and a bit cute. worth a look for a romcom.

Been a long time since I read the novels, but seems like it's picking up where last season left off, and shit is about to hit the fan.

And I don't watch CR/Horriblesubs unless I can't find a fansub. Though I have basically given up on Chihiro. Since I left they can't finish anything.

Horrible has consistency, and even when I have to look elsewhere for AT-X rips, 9/10 they use Netflix/CR/Amazon prime simulcast subs anyway.

As much as I hate to admit, The official translations are actual pretty good on the localisation fronts, and I've started to find fansub localisation a bit cringey at times.

I think the severely diminished number of fansubbers ( outside of hentai of course) is representative of this.

One last thing I think is that a large majority of simulcasts are TL'd by the same company, so there is consistency in the localisation across multiple shows.

While we're on the topic of anime, how has no one mentioned Steins;Gate Zero?

It's a spinoff, and I never really finished steins gate to begin with. I havn't mentioned the Gun Gale Online spinoff either ( although this one is actually not bad)

Just finished watching the best slice of life show I've seen in a long time. Thank god for youtube suggestions, otherwise would've missed it entirely: 'A Place Further Than The Universe' / Sora yori mo Tooi Basho
Plot in short: A story of high school girls (yes, again) who decided to go to Antarctica to escape their normal lives.

Towards the end there was one especially powerful scene, even though I can't really relate to it, but just watching it unwind felt so crushingly sad, that I couldn't hold back my tears. It lasted only for a very brief moment, but it was like Star Platinum landing punches on me [mandatory JoJo]. It goes right next to the episode of Mitty from Made in Abyss in terms of feels. Despite that, I was mostly laughing and crying tears of joy overall through the show.
Also after finishing the show, I felt satisfied. I was glad it wasn't any longer, and I'm not feeling like watching anything more for now. That's a rare feeling.

Definitely recommending to watch, especially since its only 13 episodes if you haven't already seen it.

This song will be much better after watching the show:
