Weekly Kickstarter recommendations?

Any chance of this becoming a thing? It could become something to go onto the main site, as well. A thread for the recommendations could work just as well, but I think putting it on the main site would have more of an effect. Draw more attention to the kickstarters that deserve it, and draw more attention here.

Oh no, I wouldn't do it, hence the reason I put it in the place for suggestions. If I were actually to do it myself, I'd have made a thread for it, and possibly sent it to the admins to put on the main site. I've seen maybe a total of 10 different kickstarters myself, though I know some really good ones pop up every now and then. I was suggesting that maybe someone who knows their way around kickstarter more might do it.

No, just mention whatever kickstarters they happen to find that look really good. Maybe weekly is a bit too ambitious, perhaps monthly? I have spent virtually no time on kickstarter myself, and don't feel myself to be qualified for the task, and was hoping someone else here might have spent enough time on kickstarter to be able to find what is good, fast enough, that they won't have to spend much time sorting through the stuff that isn't so hot. Besides, my attention span only does things in phases. I wouldn't be able to keep up with a schedule like that unless I did it daily. Which I don't have the time for.

Either that or it is a way to generate more traffic to the main website. Currently there ain't a whole lot going on on the main website just look at the date differences between news posts.

It was meant to draw more attention to both the main site, and here. I have no money to spend on kickstarter at all, so either way, I would not be able to back any of the projects. Also, if it draws people here that are willing and able to donate to kickstarter, it means it's drawing people here with the money to donate to WN's server costs. :P
